'Under The Covers' : Cheesecake Valentine’s Day Collection
An original line of vintage inspired handmade lingerie pieces. Created in collaboration with seamstress Jamie Lee Miller. Each piece is handmade using repurposed 1940s satin bedspreads & 1950s-1960s curtains. We have been researching and collecting over the past year & a half to bring this line to life. Each piece is one of a kind & completely made from vintage materials. This is our second batch of creations thus far in this series. Inspired by 1940s heart shaped outfits & Bettie Page's & Bunny Yeagers original lingerie they would design and wear for their ‘cheesecake’ pinup photo shoots throughout the 1950s. Each piece is a vintage reproduction using the materials of the era we are highlighting in the design. Slip into under the covers.
The Bettie Robe
-beautiful Ruffle high neck robe -based directly off of Bunny Yeager’s see-thru robes she designed for her ‘cheesecake’ pinup photos -lots of volume -made from a sheer Swiss dot peach curtain panel -adjustable double neck tie Ruffle collar -puff 3/4 length sleeves with a white lace ruffle -beautiful for layering or lounging -each robe is completely hand made / is different from the next and is totally made of vintage materials -a very special one of a kind piece
